An experienced Mail Order Marketing Manager is sought to join Britain’s leading Fashion Company within the Fair trade organisation, the marketing manager will be required to drive mail order sales in this rapidly growing
business.
Main Duties:
- To develop the marketing strategy with the CEO, Online Marketing Manager and PR Manager
- To produce the marketing plan for mail order and sales promotions
- To co-ordinate sales promotions across multi-channels and to keep a marketing schedule
- To implement print marketing campaigns
- To manage the expenditure budget for mail order print and sales promotions materials and co-ordinate the departmental marketing budget
- To analyse the customer database to gain an understanding of customer behaviour and assess the effectiveness of marketing activity (with technical assistance)
- To manage the mailing lists and checking their accuracy before use
- To work with the CEO to produce the catalogue, with the help of the Catalogue Production Coordinator
- To manage the costing and quality control of the reprographics/printing of the catalogue
- To oversee the preparation of the catalogue layouts
- To proof read and edit the catalogue text and oversee submission to the graphic designer
Ideal Candidate
- Substantial marketing experience, preferably in multichannel fashion retail (including direct and online marketing)
- Well rounded understanding of the UK fashion market
- Experience in the management of print publishing, preferably catalogues
- Good copywriting skills
- Solid understanding of sales marketing analytics and customer data management
- Experience of working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities
- Management experience and good leadership skills
- Exceptional planning organisational skills
- Commitment to Fair Trade and/or environmental issues
- Very pro-active nature – generating new ideas and exploring new developments
