Our client is without doubt one of the country’s best known household names, and have recently invested heavily at its 13 UK manufacturing sites which in turn has seen them become the 2nd largest grocery brand in the UK. Their premium bakery products are only available under their brand name, they do not manufacture own label products. This site is the largest of its kind in Europe and is 9 acres in size. Each of the manufacturing plants has received recent investment and all are now fully automated high speed production lines. The role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
The successful candidate will be required to carry out reactive and also planned maintenance to ensure the smooth running of production lines. This is a 24/7 production plant and the business is committed to its customers and their requirements. As maintenance engineer you will service, repair and maintain the production lines which are PLC controlled. The shifts for this role are 4 on 4 off days and nights.
Key Skills:
As an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will have highly developed diagnostic skills, which will have been gained in a manufacturing environment. Ideally you will be able to carry out laptop diagnostic work on PLC’s. A good team player who can work well under pressure and ensure that downtime is minimised will prosper in this company where there are numerous opportunities to advance your career.
