Job Title: Maintenance Manager (Mechanical bias)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Basic + Excellent Benefits Package
The Company:
Established for nearly 100 years, our client is one of the UK’s leading FMCG manufacturers producing household’s brands throughout various locations. A recent restructure and planned investment has now created an opening for talented Maintenance Manager (Mechanical bias).
The Role of a Maintenance Manager (Mechanical bias):
Reporting directly to the Site Engineering Manager, the role of the Maintenance Manager will include;
·Implement the site strategy ensuring the engineering function is effective
·Ensure that maintenance personnel’s skill requirements are maintained in line with implemented technical improvements
·Agree engineering site standards across the site with an annual budget
·Ensure departmental compliance to Health and Safety legislation
·To coach, review and develop staff potential to achieve operational and personal targets
·To ensure continued improvement in engineering skills through a structured development programme
·To track Engineering KPI’s and develop action plans to attain targets and improvement KPI’s ongoing
·Provide technical expertise and engineering knowledge in resolving engineering problems
·Ensure a high performance culture which encourages innovation and continuous improvement in a controlled environment
Key Skills:
·3 - 5 years’ man management experience gained working within a manufacturing environment·Working with new technologies is desirable.·Breadth of experience is desirable to include cross company or department.
·Change Management exposure
·Experience of working within a Production environment – preferably FMCG (3 year)
