The Company:
This hugely successful manufacturing company is expanding at a profound rate and is in need of 3 engineers to strengthen the existing team. This company has been manufacturing their range of bespoke products for just under 100 years, and are still dominating the market place to this day.
They are international organisations, who have 18 sites across 11 countries around the world. This company are offering the right candidates the opportunity to join an expanding, forward thinking company who already employ over 1500 people.
The Role of an Engineering Manager:
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the role of the Engineering Manager will include;
·Implement the site strategy ensuring the engineering function is effective
·Ensure that maintenance personnel’s skill requirements are maintained in line with implemented technical improvements
·Agree engineering site standards across the site with an annual budget
·Ensure departmental compliance to Health and Safety legislation
·To coach, review and develop staff potential to achieve operational and personal targets
·To ensure continued improvement in engineering skills through a structured development programme
·To track Engineering KPI’s and develop action plans to attain targets and improvement KPI’s ongoing
·Provide technical expertise and engineering knowledge in resolving engineering problems
·Ensure a high performance culture which encourages innovation and continuous improvement in a controlled environment
Key Skills:
For the role you will need to have come from an industrial or food manufacturing background. As this is also a hands on position at times you will need sound engineering skills (Electrical and Mechanical) along with the ability to man manage and effectively run a production facility.
