Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, from an electrical or mechanical background? then this could be the role for you. Working for one of the leading suppliers of Facilities Management and Maintenance in the country, our client manages and maintenances one of the largest industrial sites in Aberdeen and are looking for a responsible and experienced Chargehand to join their team.
Reporting to the M&E Supervisor, your role will encompass various hands on duties when required, as well as supervising works by the electrical and mechanical maintenance engineers, issuing permits to work, adhering to H&S regulations at all times, and arranging work schedules, monitoring individuals performances, processing job and timesheets, and other day to day duties.

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with excellent supervisory experience within a maintenance environment, and experience and knowledge of issuing permits to work. It is essential that you are from an electrical or mechanical background, being time served or completing an apprenticeship. You must have experience working within a COMMERCIAL MAINTENANCE environment - candidates who have worked solely on domestic or installation contracts can not be considered.
