Purpose:
Reporting to the Account Manager this role will be for an experienced Maintenance Surveyor working for our Client, a high profile fast food operation.
The role will cover the whole of Scotland and requires flexibility.
Role Scope:
Ideally based in Glasgow covering the whole of Scotland.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities- To be responsible for effective programming of your workload.It is expected that you will spend 80% of your time in the field and 20% of your time on quote validation / project management.
- To report/reply/action and build a relationship with the Regional Director / Regional Coach within agreed timescales when required.To meet on a minimum of a quarterly basis, which may include attending regional meetings.
- Attend review meetings as required including the quarterly surveyors meeting.
- Required to check and validate all referred building quotations (including H&S and DHO critical jobs), for restaurants within the agreed geographical area and within agreed timescales.To identify and prepare Capex request if applicable.
- To undertake site checks on a minimum of 20% of all reactive building work and planned maintenance within your region each period and manage all project work to programme and within budget.Varifying works that have been carried out correctly and to the expected specification.
- All complaints from Operations must be resolved to ensure satisfactory conclusion to each complaint within agreed timescales.
- To act as Project Manager where required for programmed building maintenance projects, e.g. Air con upgrade, floor replacement.
- To act as the emergency point of contact for building and maintenance issues that prevent or are likely to prevent a store trading.
- To co-ordinate multi contractor attendance to ensure store down time minimised.
- Manage all escalated recalls ensuring the contractor attends and resolves any problems at no cost to client.
- To act as the point of expertise for the client.To provide technical expertise to enable queries and complaints to be quickly resolved.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONQualifications / Training RequiredComputer Literate
Experience Required1 – 2 years experience in a similar role
M & E / Project Management experience advantageous
Experience of working in a retail environment beneficial.
Particular Aptitude / Special Skills requiredExcellent Time Management
