The role-
Reporting into the Group Engineering Manager, the role of Maintenance Team Leader / Supervisor is key to the continued success of the business and development of the companies maintenance function. Key aspects of the role include;
Prioritising the preventative maintenance breakdowns across two sites whilst managing resources (man hours).
Reducing plant downtime through efficient & prioritised reactive maintenance. Logging of all corrective actions keeping management informed of progress.Analysis & diagnosis of issues as well as corrective action. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with strict Health & Safety guidelines.
The role requires an ability to communicate successfully at all levels within the company with a focus on safety, production & quality.
The candidate-
The ideal candidate will be a time served Maintenance Engineer / HNC qualified in an Electrical / Mechanical discipline together with mechanical / electrical skills.
As Maintenance Team Leader you will be experienced in Siemens S5/S7 or Allen Bradley (Rockwell Systems) PLC fault-finding, with an understanding in Ladder Logic and HMI systems. Experience in working within FMCG or continuous process industries is a critical requirement for this business. AC & DC Drives would be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate working experience of maintenance & repair of mixers, blenders, conveyors and packaging lines. Liquid filling / Wet food experience would be desirable. Strong communicator, organiser and the ability to manage a small team are essential attributes for this role.
