Management Accountant
c. £40,000 plus excellent benefits
37 hours per week, all year
Looking for a challenging role? We have an exceptional opportunity for a qualified accountant to join Central Sussex College based in Crawley, West Sussex.
Central Sussex College has nearly 1,000 staff across six campuses, over 3,000 full-time and 10,000 part-time students, and an estimated budget of £30m. Our vision is to be an outstanding College, responsive to the needs of students, employers and our local communities. To help us achieve this vision we are looking for a qualified accountant.
This is a diverse role with specific responsibility for the production of the management accounts. You will also prepare the financial accounts with assistance from the finance team.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- CCAB qualified
- Experience in reporting
- Strong systems skills with the ability to drive systems and controls
- Commercially aware
- Ability to analyse data, identify and resolve issues
- Deliver change, promote best practice and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Commercial acumen and broad business perspective
- People management
- Customer service
- Communicates effectively
