An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Public Sector client
As the Management Accountant, you will report into the Head of Decision Support and this offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to develop their skills further.
The role will involve:
*Providing Financial support to Heads of Programme and Team Leaders during the 2009/10 budget process.
*Supporting Project Managers with quality management information.
*Providing advice and object challenge to budget plans.
*Facilitating cross agency working, working closely with Resource Management to ensure the best use of resources.
The successful applicant will:
*Be CIMA / ACCA/ CIPFA qualified or equivalent.
*Possess relevant management accounting experience
*Have a proven track record of working with budgets and of influencing budget holders
*Own strong IT skills
In addition to the above, candidates must possess the following:
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*Strong negotiating and influencing skills
*Security cleared to CRB minimum level.
