Our client is a key player in the property sector. They are looking for a pro-active, commercially focused Management Accountant to facilitate the flow of high quality management and financial information across the business.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities for this role will include the preparation of the management accounts incorporating profit & loss and balance sheet accounting, cash flow reporting and the calculation of the accruals and prepayments. You will subsequently provide analysis in relation to key aspects, findings and discrepancies within the management accounts with a view to presenting these results to the board. You will be heavily involved in the budgetary process including the creation of the annual budget, analysing budget to actuals and providing associated variance reports as well as forecasting and re-forecasting. You will also be responsible for overseeing the nominal ledgers; effecting journal entries to correct discrepancies and maintaining the fixed asset register.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solid, qualified or part-qualified (finalist) accountant keen for a role which will involve making an impact on key decision makers throughout the business. Candidates must possess solid management accounting and reporting experience coupled with a diligent and methodical work ethic. You will also possess a strong knowledge of SAP and Excel.
