Our Client, one of the area's most prestigious employers based in their impressive European Headquarters is recruiting a first class Finance Manager for their Consolidations and Statutory Accounting. This maternity cover contract is an immediate requirement for a 6 month period and may last up to 12 months. The main purposes of the role include improving the effectiveness of financial accounting support to subsidiaries, monthly reporting of actuals, providing input into streamlining accounting processes for local and European monthly accounting and statutory consolidation for all associated companies. Day to day duties include Statutory consolidations, monthly reporting, GAAP support, audit support, driving internal controls, supporting the FP&A function, VAT, Cooperation Tax, proposing SOPs, team supervision and management. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 3 PQE. You will have in depth consolidation experience in a large preferably European entity and excellent knowledge of Sarbannes Oxley, taxation, UK GAAP, IFRS is essential.
