Chartered Accountant with extensive exposure to the Financial Services sector and excellent technical knowledge of IFRS, UKGAAP & US GAAP sought to take on high profile role within this prestigious financial institution.
Our client is seeking to recruit an impressive people manager who will be responsible for building and subsequently leading and developing teams within a new business area.This is an extremely visible role requiring applicants to demonstrate the gravitas and presence essential to influence and maintain confidence at the highest levels of management both internally and externally.Confident communication and presentation skills are essential.
Experience will be gained from either Practice (audit or advisory) or from a major bank or other financial institution.Strong knowledge of the UK regulatory environment and International Accounting Standards is essential and applicants will be conceptual thinkers with excellent analytical skills.
The team's responsibilities will be varied and will include the oversight of training programmes relating to audit and accounting, systems and process development, the implementation of new accounting and risk and regulatory policies and managing accounting and risk focussed projects on an ad hoc basis
