Qualified accountant with business related degree, significant unit trust accounting and/or pricing experience and proven people management skills sought by this leading global securities house.
This is a key role with responsibility for managing both the both Unit Trust pricing and accounting teams.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring delivery of a superior level of client service, overseeing all operational aspects of accounts production and assisting in the provision of secondary review of accounts files and SORP accounts.
Applicants will demonstrate excellent communication and relationship management skills, which will be complemented by a strong technical background covering accounting for unit trusts and/or other collective investment schemes.A high level of risk awareness and strong organisational skills are essential.
Team management duties will include the oversight of all day to day operations, providing advice on technical issues, leading, coaching and motivating the team and being responsible for appraisals, performance management salary review.The role also carries responsibility for providing input to the strategic direction of the department and offers the opportunity to represent the bank at industry forums and events.
