randstad are recruiting for a Manager for a residential unit for children based in the Highlands.
The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the unit dealing with all day to day management while ensuring the service delivered meets National Care Standards. Other responsibilities will include:
* Providing line management support to the staff team members and identifying staff training needs
* Management of the service`s financial budget and to contribute to the budget planning process
* To establish and implement best practice within the directly managed service
To be considered for this role, candidates will be working in a similar role within a social care setting with knowledge of working with children in a residential unit. Ideally you will be SSSC registered or in the process of registering.
