This main Rail Contractor has current vacancies for 2 Managing Quantity Surveyors based at Warrington and the Grangemouth, Scotland. Duties will include: •Reporting to Commercial Manager - Management of QS Site Teams
- Sub contract and design procurement
- Management of performance measures including KPI’s
•Management of the production of all contracts/subcontracts etc •Working closely with the Operations Manager on all commercial issues •Responsible for forecasting / cost loading of schedule •Managing contractual issues on project •Management of the risk process •Liaison with Client Commercial Managers •Liaison with Client Cost Consultant on Cost Audits Approach & Behaviour: To manage work in a logical, methodical manner and to show a committed, enthusiastic and flexible approach. Experience: Similar position held previously, member of Professional body, RICS or ICES, be familiar with different forms of contract. Ability to work as part of a multi disciplined team. Qualifications: Degree level qualified, BSc / HND in Quantity Surveying; Professionally Qualified Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel & Outlook is essential, Word & Access is desirable. |
