Looking for a career change?
Thomson Reuters is seeking experienced financial professionals - Investment Bankers, Research Analysts, Traders, and Asset Managers - to serve as Analysts and Commentators for Reuters News. We’re especially interested in people with experience in Credit, M&A, Commodities and Energy, Derivatives, FX, and Equities. These individuals will provide commentary and analysis on financial markets over multiple mediums, including the Reuters Wire and Reuters Television. You don’t need to be experienced in television or news media but you must be able to identify and clearly articulate opportunities and risks to our customers.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in the financial markets and a good book of contacts
- A detailed understanding of how to interpret financial data, fundamental or statistical, and capital flows
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and quickly, in short written updates and graphs
- Master's degree or equivalent preferred
- Previous television training a plus but not required
- Ability to work as part of a team in a multimedia environment
