This is a fantastic role for a bright and creative Marketing Assistant/Executive looking for a creative position working for a leading global publishing company based in the west end who publish well known titles within a variety of sectors ranging from sports to education.
What will I be doing?
You will be managing the marketing scheduling, both online and print and will put together monthly schedules for print marketing activity for a range of products, including a portfolio of 14 subscriptions titles and where required, a range of book products. You will be required to make decisions using key performance indicators such as ROI and response-timings. You will manage all Campaign management and reporting and use your creative writing skills for copywriting liaising effectively with editors and internal members of the team to provide the best possible copy. Using your innovative approach you will maintain responses to campaigns and build relationships with internal and external suppliers and key stakeholders (the editorial, customer services, online marketing, conferences and design teams) as well as externally (printers and fulfilment houses, external designers and the education database providers).
There will be a co-ordination and administration function to this marketing role as well, recording campaigns, artwork, invoices, and also you will be expected to attend and contribute to publishing meetings which lead to marketing discussions – confidence and ideas essential!
Additional responsibilities include website maintenance at a basic level, month end reporting and researching new opportunities (e.g. partnership opportunities, social media and PPC, identifying new niche audiences, etc)
It is essential you have excellent attention to detail and are able to create persuasive written communication, and that you enjoy working in a diverse and creative role. The company is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual and it is essential to have at least one year’s marketing experience so you can really hit the ground running.
