The Job Role: A varied role that will develop over time, the role will consist of Telemarketing (assisting with both ongoing and new projects), making appointments & obtaining contact details, exhibition preparation including printing flyers, collating documents, updating the website with news stories and other info, oversee the company newsletter content, data entry and database maintenance, mail shots and correspondence, preparation for small conferences and ad hoc duties to assist both the marketing and sales departments where necessary.

Essential Requirements: To be successful for the role, candidates must have previous experience working in a role associated with telesales and marketing and have an acute understanding of sales and marketing. Other skills and requirements will include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility, motivation and a well-organised, methodical approach
  • IT literate with sound PC Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer
  • Attention to detail and solid organisational skills
  • An awareness of customer care and service
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade C or above or equivalent
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff
