Transportation industry electronics is the fastest growing sector of the industry, and is undergoing huge changes as legislation makes emission control more complex, consumer electronics drives infotainment change, and concern over fuel reserves drives the development of hybrid vehicles.

Pi Shurlok is accelerating the introduction to market of new members of the successful OpenECU family of products. As a result of this increased level of activity, Pi Shurlok has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Designer/Coordinator to provide marketing support to the global organisation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintain consistent branding throughout all customer facing material.
  
• Design and production of all marketing collateral, including website, presentations, documentation, exhibition graphics and press releases.
  
• Develop and manage processes to ensure product documentation is up-to-date and consistent.
  
• Provide editorial services for the drafting of technical materials.
  
• Originate text for news items, press releases, online blogs and marketing collateral.
  
• Organise and manage Pi Shurlok presence at exhibitions.
  

We are looking for applicants who have:

• A degree level qualification in Marketing, Media or an Engineering related subject;
  
• A demonstrable portfolio of marketing collateral related to electronic products or engineering services;
  
• Proven skills in the use of creative design software, e.g. Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign;
  
• Excellent communication skills including effective writing skills and strong presentation skills.
  
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to a technical audience.
  
• An interest and awareness of the automotive market, automotive electronics industry, or similar environments.
  
• Good interpersonal skills, willing and able to work with people at many levels within the organization
