Catalis ltd are a leading training provider within Health & Safety and the Rail Industry.
They are looking to recruit an experience marketing executive initially for a temporary 3 month contract, with the potential of a permanent position.
To provide marketing support and activities that will contribute to the achievement sales and business objectives for The Derby Conference Centre
The successful candidate would ideally have marketing expereince within a training, engineering or rail related organisation but other B2B experience would be considered.
Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, the marketing executive will be required to undertake the following activities:
- Responsiblility for above the line and below the line marketing activity and promotions
- Market research activity and forecasting
- Website maintenance / management
- Liaising with external PR agency
- Developing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in various publications
- Monitoring and evaluation of marketing campaigns
- Carry out competitor analysis
- Supporting the sales team
- Email campaigns using external software packages
The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications
- Effective decision making and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Good organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
- Ability to use standard software applications and gain knowledge of internal systems
- Work to tight time scales and deadlines
- Ability to remain focused and driven in a changing environment
- Use own initiative and be proactive
- Ability to challenge and probe in an effective manner
- Work well as part of a team and individually
