We have recently registered an excellent contract opportunity with our client, a provider of marketing and communications services.They are now recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join them from now until March 2010.The purpose of this role will be to support with the development and implementation of marketing communications campaigns for specific organisations.
The key responsibilities of this position will include:
- Preparation of campaign materials and tools, e.g. promotional literature, giveaways and events display materials;
- Supporting the Marketing Manager in the preparation and presentation of campaign plans and progress reports;
- Supporting the Marketing Manager to ensure adequate ongoing monitoring and evaluation of campaign activities and budgets;
- The production of newsletters for dissemination electronically and by mail;
- Creating written content for promotional materials and website.
This is a small selection of the scope and variety within this challenging and exciting position.The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with a strong base of marketing experience and a sound understanding of the importance of branding and messaging.You will have previous experience of maintaining a supplier/agency relationship and excellent writing skills.
Some experience of working within the not-for-profit sector would be an advantage, though not essential.You will be an excellent communicator and a creative thinker, with a strong customer focus and good presentation skills.
