My client is a global leader in healthcare. The Role
Following expansion within their respiratory care / clinical systems business, they seek to recruit a dedicated Marketing Manager. This is a newly created high-profile role that will provide a variety of challenges and play a key role in developing future business within this particular field. Key areas of the role will include:-
UK responsibility for the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans:
• Responsible for expanding existing products into new markets
• Responsible for strategic market planning, competitive knowledge, annual market planning, product life cycle management and product positioning for the product range in the UK
• To work closely with the EAME Marketing teams on alignment of UK marketing activities with the strategies of EAME, the International Division and the Corporation
• To interface with clinicians and researchers to support marketing activities as they relate to product development and new market identification in the UK
• Working with the UK Sales teams, responsible for ensuring that the full marketing contribution is delivered. Take responsibility for implementation of local marketing campaigns ensuring that these are in line with EAME strategic goals and objectives
• Responsible for having an intimate and up-to-date understanding of customer needs and problems, competitors and the environment in which the products will be marketed in order to identify current and future trends in the market place
• Achievement of quarterly and annual financial goals will be key measures of success as will the impact of the introduction of new products
• Management and development of the Marketing Assistant.
Your Background
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must be able to demonstrate sales or marketing management experience in a senior role gained within the healthcare industry, with experience and knowledge of the NHS and the respiratory medical devices sector.You will be highly creative with a strong entrepreneurial flair and self motivation.This will be a field/home based role that will require frequent travel to customer and partner sites across the UK.
