Marketing Manager

As the UK's premier provider of playground equipment, our client translates ideas into playground environments that children will love for years to come. Their success has been reliant upon successful direct marketing and a strong brand in their core market segments. An opportunity has now arisen for a Marketing Manager to join their team.
For this role our client is seeking an enthusiastic marketer with strong project management skills, to drive the business forward through the implementation of marketing campaigns which stimulate response and enquiries for their sales team.
As the Marketing Manager you will be involved in all aspects of the marketing mix. A key part will be managing the workflow, efficiency and communication between marketing and the sales team, as well as developing and delivering agreed level of enquiries through the marketing mix to ensure financial goals are realised. The role will be challenging, varied and exciting.
Your duties will include:
- Taking ownership of the website and online presence - liaison with external web agency and internal creative design team
- Creating and executing marketing campaigns to stimulate enquiries
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with a range of stakeholders - customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Liaising with the external PR and advertising agency
- Contributing to the marketing planning and budget preparation
- Preparing and supervising the production of brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets etc
- Organising and attending special events, such as conferences, exhibitions, open days, tours etc
To be considered for this position you must have a degree (or equivalent) and solid senior level marketing experience. You will also need to demonstrate knowledge of online marketing (SEO and SEM), the ability to work with suppliers and direct mail campaign management skills.
As the Marketing Manager, you should also be an excellent communicator with a highly motivated and dynamic approach, and excellent presentation skills. You will also need a good level of PC literacy, strong project management skills, and a creative approach.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the education market and will hold a CIM or IDM certification.
