Leading Aerospace company is seeking an experience Materials Engineer to join their team to provide materials support to a specialist business unit. The Materials Engineer will be responsible for the quality of materials and processes used in the manufacture of the company's products.
As the Materials Engineer you will undertake risk reviews throughout the design process into development and manufacture, managing materials and processes lists and approving subcontract suppliers. This position will demand excellent organisational skills with a strong and proven understanding of materials and processes therefore the successful applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent in materials science/metallurgy or similar with experience in materials engineering.
This role may involve national and international travel therefore all applicants should be prepared to travel within the role and must be eligible for security clearance.
Commutable from Hampshire, Southampton, Fareham, Chichester, Waterlooville, South Coast.
