Maths Teacher
This role has become available due to the present maths teacher returning to Australia in December after a year at the school.
She is going to be sorely missed and the school are looking for an equally affable and competent teacher of Maths to step into her shoes.
The department is well organised and the present head of Maths has been there for 6 years. All the schemes of work are in place and it is an environment where you will be able to focus on your teaching.
The role is to teach up to KS4 with two GCSE classes - they teach the Maths to GCSE and for this role there is no A-level teaching as the school is purely an 11-16 environment.
There are two NQTS currently in the dept (out of 11) and It has a very welcoming and supportive feel to the place and in terms of grades it achieved 86% Pass (A-C) in Maths last year.
