Media planner/buyer required for my client a top Advertising agency in Kent.
Title description; using a combination of own/agency knowledge and experience, historical data, research to identify the correct media spots to deliver client objectives and then negotiate the right price for these spots
Media covered; handle all media in house – TV, press (regional, national and magazines), radio, posters and internet.
Responsibilities; initially, providing admin support primarily to Media Director and media manager – placing bookings with media owners, inputting booking details on DDS (media booking and invoicing IT system), voucher checking (ensure insertions ran as booked), use of industry standard media research systems – TGI (target audience, media consumption, brand usage)and NMR (competitive media spend tracking)
Creation, and maintenance, of excel based media schedules will also be required, as will creation of Powerpoint charts, graphs and table so good skills across ideally both of these systems is important. Being able to add up would also be useful
There will be a level of direct interface with junior clients plus account management team and creative/production dept.
