This is a great opportunity with a Research based company specialising in Oncology who are looking for a Medical Advisor to join them. Based in Central London the company is looking for a Physician to work in their Drug Development Office where they develop effective new anti-cancer treatments in Phase I and Phase II clinical trials.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:
·Reviewing Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reports on sponsored trials and business partner trials
·Review line listings of Adverse Events / SAEs to identify safety trends and issues
·To provide medical input and review clinical trial documentation, including Investigator Brochures, Patient Information Sheets, Consent Forms, Clinical Study Reports (CSRs) and Annual Safety Reports (ASRs)
·Providing written updates on trials to the Head of Medical Services
The person will possess:
·Medically qualifies individual with current registration to the General Medial Council - GMC
·Some experience of working in clinical trials and / or drug safety and Pharmacovigilance would be preferable although not essential
·Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with staff and external collaborators and authorities
·Ability to maintain rigorous adherence to written procedures, guidelines and legal requirements
·Ability to handle and manager information effectively
·Planning and organisational skills
·Ability to influence and negotiate with others
·Excellent English - written and spoken
