An award-winning healthcare advertising agency is looking for a Medical Copywriter to join its growing Copy Department. The Medical Copywriter will be responsible for writing copy for full promotional campaigns (adverts and sales materials) within a diverse range of accounts. The successful candidate will be a team player, with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, a proactive nature, and excellent time and project management skills. The position is permanent and based in the offices in London.
Core responsibilities:
·Writing promotional materials (including sales aids, leavepieces, mailers, objection handlers, training documents)
·Concepting and writing creative copy for advertising campaigns
·Building successful working relationships with clients, and understanding their needs, marketing strategies, and the therapy area and scientific data involved in their accounts
Additional responsibilities:
·Providing cover and support for other medical copywriters
·Attending meetings with clients
·Involvement in internal projects, as required
Skills & experience required:
·Biological/medical sciences degree is a must
·Experience in writing in medical communications sector
·Keen interest in the pharmaceutical industry
·Ability to write accurate, promotional, scientific copy
·Ability to deliver material within tight timelines
