One of the world's leading research based pharmaceutical companies is looking for a new Senior Medical Manager. As part of our Medical Affairs team you will work closely with the Business Unit, developing clinical trial plans, interpreting data and providing other medical support to maximise the company's potential.
The role
·T research, collate, present and offer expert opinion on scientific, medical and regulatory information to support both internal and external customers
·To identify and develop strong, sustainable relationships with external Key Opinion Leaders to deliver both opportunity and provision to execute the produce strategy
·To develop, design or advice on clinical trial programmes and strategic clinical issues, maximising the marketing / selling opportunity of the product at both a local and International level and ensure subsequent publications of appropriate clinical data to support the portfolio.
·To manage the integrity and accuracy of scientific, medical and regulatory data communicated with internally and externally for both promotional and on-promotional services, including delivering appropriate training to enhance the companies reputation
·To act in expert capacity got all media, public affairs and external organisations requests
·To ensure adherence of the company and competitor companies to ABPI code of practice in terms of promotional materials, behaviour and attitudes
Working within a multidisciplinary team you will take responsibility for late Phase III cardiovascular products. Your role will include creation and development of the life cycle plan for the UK in collaboration with the business team. Additionally you will work closely with our global business teams as a core member of the International Medical Team.
Ideal candidate
·Medically qualified and GMC registered, ideally you will have relevant clinical experience in cardiovascular medicine gained in the health service or pharmaceutical industry.
·Knowledge of the ABPI code of practice and the NHS environment
·Experience of presenting, data analysis and statistics, team work and communication
·Equally important are personal qualities: first-rate team-working skills plus the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You must also be commitment to delivering excellence.
