We are recruiting for a very prestigious hotel for an experienced Meetings and Events Manager based in the West Midlands working within the hotel there are additional features including, top notch bars and restaurants, a state-of-the-art health and fitness club with over 70 pieces of top notch gym equipment including a full length pool, squash courts, spa, sauna and fitness studios, the facilities will also include the onsite cafe and beauty room which offers a variety of treatments for both men and women ranging from facials, manicures and pedicures to relaxing aromatherapy massages and detoxifying algae wraps. Our client prides its self on offering pristine facilities to its guests and members.
Your role will be to ensure that the department consistently offers the highest professional standards of service for the guests and maximises the profitability, you must lead and motivate the team to deliver memorable events including meetings, formal dinners, weddings and parties. Standards of guest services are your main focus and you must be able to prioritise your time and duties.
You must apply attention to detail, oversee the set up of all the meeting rooms having an eye for detail, able to operate various pieces of equipment ensuring that the equipment is stored correctly, train and coach the team to deliver an excellent service and up-sell at every opportunity as well as being involved with the finance part of the business and working to the departmental targets.
The successful candidate for this role must have worked previously as a Meetings and Events Manager, be results driven with a real passion for the industry and have the confidence to demand high standards .
