The Company
A UK based civil engineering and construction specialist working with, amongst other client, London Underground and Network Rail.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES FOR THIS ROLE MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH THE PRODUCTION/AUTHORING OF METHOD STATEMENTS
Role Description
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Projects and work closely with the project team to produce method statements for all projects.
The key responsibilities will include:
?Producing method statements from scope of works, site visits and input from project managers.
?Coordination of all amendments, addendums and approvals.
?Ensuring that excellent standard of accuracy and document control is maintained at all times.
?Liaison with client and Health and Safety Advisors.
Minimum requirements as follows:
Qualifications
?Educated to GCSE/ 'O' Level Standard or equivalent.
?Health and Safety Training/Qualification (Desirable)
Experience
EXPERIENCE IN THE PRODUCTION OF METHOD STATEMENTS IN THE RAIL INDSUTRY WILL BE A DISTINCT ADVANTAGE

?London Underground - conversant with LU procedures

?Excellent communication skills at all levels.
?Writing, editing and presenting information in clear and simple English in line with company/client templates
?Indexing and cataloguing material
?Document control/traceability
?Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
?Intermediate in the use of Microsoft Office Programmes - predominantly Word, Excel and Outlook
