Unit Manager Millies Cookies - SSP UK London Bridge Station Millies Cookies is a thriving retail catering unit at London Bridge station. An experienced Unit Manager is needed to manage this fun, busy outlet, where no two days are ever alike. You will have complete control of P&L and full responsibility for managing the team, whilst offering the very best in customer service. Reporting to the Operations Manager on site, this is a very hands-on role, and the majority of the time you will work independently, so need to be prepared to handle whatever challenges come your way. You will be able to maximise the opportunity to develop your skills from managing and motivating the team, placing stock orders, taking deliveries and having a real impact on every aspect of running the site. You will be working for the travel sector's world-leading foodservice business, so you will have the security that learning and development opportunities are available if you want to take your skills to the next level.
Required Experience
You should ideally have experience in a busy, branded food retail environment and be used to working varied hours, with some early starts. BAKERY experience would be a bonus. More than anything, you should want to offer great customer service, appreciating the impact this has on the local business. Every day is different here, so there's no time to ever get bored. By the time you have managed the rush hour, prepared more cookies, restocked the displays, carried out some Health and Safety checks, reviewed the sales, held a staff meeting etc., the day will almost be over. Your experience should include having accountability for the financial performance, quality of service, maintenance of set brand standards and development of the team within your unit.
