We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Combustion Engineer to carry out service, repair and reactive works to commercial gas appliances at various retail and commercial premises. In addition to commercial gas appliance service, repair and reactive response they should have the ability to undertake fault finding to associated electrical control and safety circuits. Ideally the engineer should have“All Round” knowledge of building services engineering and a willingness to join a team that currently undertake maintenance to these contracts comprising: Emergency lighting, monthly flick tests Water temperature checks Air Handling Unit maintenance Minor plumbing repairs Minor electrical investigation, re set MCB etc. In addition to general paperwork i.e. completing of report sheets / timesheets it is a requirement of some of our clients that engineers sign on to their computer systems when arriving / leaving their premises. Qualifications required CCN1 - Core Domestic CODNC01 – Changeover Domestic to Commercial CIGA1 – Indirect Fired Heating Appliances ICPN1 – Commercial Pipework CORT1 – Overhead Radiant Tube Heaters As with most M&E engineering and building services companies in our sector our client provides a call out service to our clients and as such the engineer would be required to go on a call out rota approximately one week in every five, for this they will be paid an additional £100 for the week and if called out paid a minimum of four hours at the appropriate rate. Our client pays normal time 08.00 – 17.00 Mon – Fri. X 1.517.00 -00.00 Mon to Fri X 1.508.00 – 12.00 Sat X2 00.00 – 08.00 Mon to Friday X212.00 - Sat through to 08.00 Mon.
