Purpose of Role
To provide a proactive and versatile service to the off street business in order to ensure the effective operation of the car parks and the maintenance of the car park equipment, the role will support the vision of a continuously improving off street business.

Key Accountabilities
People
- Interact and build relations with National Operation Centre (NOC) staff to ensure delivery of a professional and working car park operation;
- Communicate regularly with all operational team to ensure consistent and professional approach is adopted.
Customers/Clients
- Primary purpose is to maintain customer facing car park equipment to ensure a fully functioning operation;
- Ad hoc support to customers when directed by the NOC;
- Appropriate customer service support to be provided when approached on site by members of the public.
Processes
- The primary responsibility of the role will be to carry out maintenance and repairs to the automated car park equipment as directed by the NOC to ensure continued operation of the car parks with in an area.
- React to requests as directed by the NOC through the mobile communication device;
- Maintain reporting and communication lines with the NOC including daily log in / log off;
- Carry out reactive repairs and support toparking control equipment on identifying faults through site visits or as directed by the NOC – this would include ticket / coin jams, no receipts issued, barrier faults, emergency cash collection etc;
- Operate, test and maintain parking control equipment following routine site visits as per required;
- Carry out maintenance on parking control equipment as per daily schedule or as directed otherwise by the NOC;
- Collect revenue from payment machines as per company procedure;
- Replenish float to pay on foot machines;
- Transport revenue to prescribed destination in a safe and secure manner;
- Regulate entry and exit of vehicles to and from car parks when required or directed by the NOC;
- Conduct static car park duties on an ad hoc basis;
- Monitor the appearance of car parks, taking action to ensure that company standards are achieved and maintained, including litter patrols, painting and basic maintenance on site;
- Check lifts and take corrective action as appropriate;
- Report evidence of substance abuse or any other criminal activity;
- Conduct pre-operation vehicle checks, taking remedial action as appropriate;
- Remove and clear spillages and any material that may cause a hazard ;
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures;
- To issue penalty charge notices where required;
- Complete and return all relevant documentation reporting on issues arising from any of the above;
- The completion and observance of the Health and Safety checklist.
Financial
- Safeguard takings and take appropriate steps to ensure the security and banking of company revenue in accordance with company procedures;
- Work with all managers and staff to implement initiatives to increase sales and maximise income opportunities.

KPIs
- Ratio of NOC tasks completed successfully in given time frame;
- Collection of cash in a timely manner ;
- Car park standards are maintained to locally agreed standards;
- Resolution of outstanding issues affecting the car park;
- Standard and up keep of fleet vehicles and equipment.
Technical Skills
- Ability to navigate Windows based applications to a reasonable standard;
- Basic diagnostics and fault finding skills;
- Knowledge of electro mechanical equipment;
- Knowledge of automated car parking equipment (desirable);
- Experience of using interactive communication devices (desirable)
- Ability to work with intricate electronic devices (desirable)
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer facing environment (desirable);
- Technical knowledge of parking equipment (desirable).
