An opportunity exists to work for a dynamic company specialising in pioneering technology, which stimulates economic growth within the oil and gas industry. Multi skilled engineer will be responsible for the inspection and field repair of all mechanical/electrical equipment.
Job Description
* To conduct planned preventative maintenance including the scheduling of this activity
* To provide electrical hook up of machinery and services.
* To provide Hydraulic hook up machinery and services
* To provide electrical breakdown cover for all activities carried out on the site.
* To assist with the provision of mechanical breakdown cover for all activities carried out on the site
* To carry out building and site maintenance when required
* To provide input into the specification of new equipment to ensure that it is of robust design and will not pose any problems with regard to servicing and maintenance.
* To carry out installation of equipment including electrical and hydraulic services as required
* To support, and anticipate in, continuous improvement activities as required within all areas of the business
* Provide guidance on installation and service requirements for all equipment as necessary
* Provide support and supervision, as necessary, for contractors working on the premises and on locations
Requirements
* Have served a recognised apprenticeship.
* Minimum of 5 -10 years post trade experience.
* Relevant electrical and hydraulic qualifications
* Excellent troubleshooting and faultfinding skills on both electrical and hydraulic disciplines.
* Ability to read and work from drawings and technical information.
* Computer literate
* Good time management/planning skills
* Be willing to travel at short notice if required
* Possess a valid Passport & Driving license
* Fluent speaking in the English language
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels & work as part of a team
* Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and safe systems of work.
* Working knowledge and understanding of quality systems, procedures and processes.
* Ability to work within both legislative and company requirements.
* Flexible with an approach to change and a can do attitude.
* Good House keeping skills
