The Role of a Maintenance Engineer:
You will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a fully automated production line, working on high speed packaging machinery, conveyors, robotic palletising and associated plant machinery, you will utilise both your electrical and mechanical engineering skills.You will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of either days or nights.
Key Skills:
You will have an electrical bias with a satisfactory level of experience in mechanical engineering and a desire to improve yourself technically.You should also hold a time served apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications, with knowledge and experience of working in a high speed production facility and ideally have a basic knowledge of PLC’s. If you have experience with industrial refrigeration equipment this would be highly advantageous. The company also offers outstanding training and development leading to nationally recognised qualifications.
