Multimodal freight Forwarding Clerk urgently required for a busy Freight Forwarding business in the Telford area!
The position will require a candidate who has gained hands on experience of handling operations for;
• Airfreight Imports, Airfreight Exports
• Sea Freight Imports, Sea Freight Exports
• European Trailer Freight Imports & Exports
The duties will be to handle import and export freight shipments from quotations and costings, arranging collections and deliveries, raising and processing all documentation to incl. Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading, cutting Airway Bills, Certs of Origin etc, updating the freight status, liaising with airlines, shipping lines, 3rd parties, overseas agents and keeping the customer informed with accurate information throughout the import or export shipment. Complete Customs Entries and Clearances, through to billing out and arranging payment collection.
