Our client is a small freight forwarder who is looking to fill the position of a multimodal / internal sales co-ordinator.
Duties follows as per the below:
Air & Ocean Exports Duties:
- Booking collections
- Sending out booking confirmations to customers
- Creating relevant shipping documents
- Pre-alerting overseas agents
- Creating NES customs entries.
Air & Ocean Imports Duties:
- Alerting relevant partner agents of pending shipments for customers
- Forwarding all relevant documentation
- Monitoring shipment arrivals
- Raising handovers
- Raising Duty and VAT invoices were applicable
- Ensuring clearances and deliveries are met as required
- Ensuring bank delivery orders are received where relevant
- Ensuring consignments are not released unless all relevant and applicable documentation is received by the required parties
Following up sales leads and selling on the Far East Markets, paying special attention to India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
