Essential Skills: Seeking candidates that have strong experience in Electrical retail, Grocery sector, someone that can bring contacts with them to allow my client to get new business quickly.

My client is the UK’s leading consumer electronics group focussed on the in-car and home entertainment markets.
The Automotive Division, with its market-leading ranges of vehicle audio and communications solutions and high profile brands, is continuing to invest in its product and people development in order to deliver strong growth in the tough market conditions and maximise the impact of the growing in-car hands-free and music streaming markets.
The Role
The role is primarily to be responsible for the development and performance of a small portfolio of prestigious retail accounts, as well as acquiring new business within the following sectors – high street electrical outlets, department stores and some of the large grocery retailers.
Key Responsibilities
• Reporting directly to the Key Account Director
• Development of new business within the sectors outlined above
• Responsible for the performance and development of the major key retail accounts
• Prepare and deliver action plans for effective acquisition of key prospects
• Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
• Provide timely feedback to senior management of sales performance
• Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, activity reports submitted by
internal and external clients
• Create and conduct customer proposal presentations
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

• Strong understanding in working with customers in the high street electrical & grocery sectors
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Passion to succeed
• Attention to detail
• Must be very confident, exude presence, while being able to maintain respect
• Proven track record in account acquisition in the retail sector and management of major accounts
• Willingness to travel and work to high standards set
• Be able to think quickly on your feet and be result orientated
Previous Experience
• Proven experience in dealing with major customers in the following sectors – Grocery, Electrical outlets and major department stores.
• Experience with compiling presentation and proposals to key retail accounts
• Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
The role will be a 50/50 split between new business and account management.
