.NET Developer London £40k -£45k; C# Asp.Net Visual Studio SQL Server
Navigation has partnered with a leader in bespoke software and ebusiness solutions in search for an experienced .NET Developer to be responsible for developing and testing within our clients development framework.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:-
- To undertake assigned development tasks.
- Accurate evaluation of development time.
- Develop good quality code in a structured manner from functional specifications and / or use cases.
- Bug and defects resolution.
- Unit testing of developed code.
- Management reporting as required.
The successful .NET Developer must have Consultancy experience within a structured development environment.You will have worked across teams to include business analysts and have experience of developing to a functional specification.It is essential that you have experience of working individually and in larger development teams (ie 6-10 developers).
The successful candidate will have 2+ years commercial experience of the following technologies:-
- C#
- Asp.Net
- .Net framework 2.0 / 3.0
- Visual Studio 2005
- SQL Server 2000 / 2005
In addition you have proficient knowledge of the following:-
- Object Orientated design skills
- HTML
- XML
It would be highly desirable to have experience in any of the following:-
- Insurance sector systems, data and processing requirements.
- Web Services.
- Javascript.
- Design patterns.
