We are currently seeking an accomplished administrator to assist our client, a local health service provider.

A short term, maternity cover contract has become available within 10 minutes of Sheffield city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a varied and diverse administration role. The successful candidate:

Must be highly organised

Will ideally have knowledge of medical terminology

Will be empathetic

Possess excellent communication skills

Must hold a full driving licence and have access to own transport

Use of your vehicle including additional insurance will be reimbursed by the company. This is an extremely attractive role offering a varied and challenging workload that will involve helping to facilitate the care of patients by:

Contacting patients and diarising appointments for clinic and theatre

Dealing with incoming calls from patients, consultants, physiotherapists and hospitals

Organising and managing delivery of diagnostic images

Booking transport

Typing clinic and theatre notes and GP letters

Delivering files to our hospital partners

The successful candidate will be supporting two others staff members within a team of 11.

This position is due to commence late November and has the potential to run for 9 months.
