An opportunity has arisen to work for part of a £multi-million food group providing high quality products to the UK's leading retailers. As market leaders they pride themselves on their innovation, quality of supply and in deed their ability to build true customer partnerships. As a result of their continued growth they now seek to recruit an experienced National Account Manager who can continue to build on this success, with the ability to take on one of the businesses most important accounts.
Reporting to the Account Director you will assume full P&L responsibility for the M & S account. You will be responsible for continuing to build and manage a very robust and sound business relationship, delivering profitable growth through the development of innovative promotions, comprehensive category initiatives and effective account planning. You will build a true win, win relationship
You will already be a National Account Manager with current responsibilities for at least one of the top four major retailers, although some experience of working with M&S would certainly be an advantage. This role would suit someonelooking for a fresh challenge and a role that gives you a real opportunity to work within a true partnership approach where you can actively influence the direction of your customer. Experience gained within fresh produce, meat or chilled food would be a distinct advantage as well as an appreciation of the NPD process. You will be an innovative, self motivated, dynamic individual able to demonstrate a strong commercial understanding.
