Michael Page FMCG are seeking a commercial National Account Manager to work with the Multiple Grocers and to be based in the South West / South Midlands.
Reporting to the Director of Sales the main accountabilities will be:
- Responsible for compiling and implementing annual account and promotional / marketing plans for each customer to meet overall volume, revenue, promotional and distributions targets, covering all channels within the account base (including on line)
- To plan, co-ordinate and implement bi-annual business planning meetings at buying controller
- To be responsible for forecasting account volumes taking account of promotional plans and historical activity.
- To be responsible for driving revenue growth and case sale growth whilst managing the budgetary spend within the agreed levels.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the customers and sector business in order to identify and secure new business opportunities and pre-empt any developments within the sector through market forces.
Essential role requirements are:
- Significant experience within the FMCG sector with a track record of dealing direct at buyer level with at least two of the top 4 Multiple Grocers.
- Experience of working at P&L responsibility for Multiple Grocers accounts
- Degree or Equivalent level education.
- Advanced presentation skills
- Proven financial awareness
- Computer literate to a high standard.
