Network Engineer: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Network Design Engineer to join this leading engineering company, taking responsibility for the architectural design of network and network management systems!
Commutable Locations: Portsmouth, Southampton, Havant, Basingstoke, Brighton, Bournemouth.
Network Engineer – Network Design Engineer – Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the architectural design of networks, including detailed specifications of security and performance requirements
- Work closely with the Security team to maintain high level of network security
- Visit client sites throughout Europe on occasion to support meetings and verification
Network Engineer – Network Design Engineer – Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in the design and setup of full network architectures, supporting the network management and network design activities
- Experience of network protocols (TCP/IP) and security protocols, as well as security devices and concepts (VPNs, Firewalls)
- The ideal candidate will have experience within Linux / Unix and virtualisation (preferably VMWare)
