A Communication service provider that manages IP networks across multiple service providers and carrier networks seeks a network engineer to help develop applications and services. Knowledge of of network configuration, data networks, routing, switching, security and IP telephony is required.
Knowledge of the following is required:
Understanding of the Cisco switch range, entry level devices (2900) to the enterprise level (6500)
Understanding of the Cisco Firewall range (PIX, ASAs)
Experience of working with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF), VPNs, , 802.1x, traffic shaping, Netflow, IOS upgrades etc.
Experience working in a UNIX enviroment
