Position: New Business Developer
Location: Bucks

Ref: 248-436Our client based in Buckinghamshire is currently on the lookout for a New Business Developer to join the team; the role will be a part time role to start with but slowly progressing to a full time role.
The company specialise in Interior and Exhibition Design and are currently working with a number of very well known clients
Although the main focus is attracting new business in the form of pitches your role will also cover client presentations, account management, project management, client entertainment and database management. (ACT)
Key roles include:
Visiting events to built relationships. Then add collated information of potential opportunity and add to existing database for follow up.
Create reminders (“alarms”) on the database as prompts to email or phone potential contacts.
Follow up existing opportunities on the database.
Use existing “hello” templates and write articulate emails to generate interest in them and ultimate generate a pitch opportunity.
Formulate bespoke PDF presentations for a market sector to send with emails.
Confidently, pick up the phone and build a friendly relationship (no hard selling) external training available if required. Identity when potential client are looking for design proposals.
Proactively research new opportunities by reading journals/Sunday Times etc and networking.
Send questionnaires to potential clients for additional information and if required set up conference calls to again additional information for pitches.
Help with bid document creation. The bid document explains the proposal and includes the costing. There are templates available to work from which require modification for each opportunity.
Monitoring client feedback from each event. You will also be required to keep in touch and occasionally entertain the new client.
Work with a small team and from time to time manage the your travel requirements, also the teams, keep the office tidy and purchase services.
