Our client is looking for a Night Support Worker to join their team immediately. This role will be hostel based and will be working with clients who are homeless, ex-offenders or have substance misuse issues. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated candidate to gain more experience in the supported housing sector and to work within a large, successful charity.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing support to vulnerable clients who have generic needs
- Conducting keyworking sessions and risk assessments.
- Providing advice on all aspects of housing, including rent arrears, housing benefits and budget maximisation.
- Advocating on behalf of clients where necessary.
- Liaising with external agencies.
Candidates for the post will need:
- Experience providing support to vulnerable clients.
- An enhanced CRB disclosure issued within the last 12 months.
