NUCLEAR PHYSICS/ SHIELDING DESIGNER/ ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Physicist with a proven track record in either the civil generation or naval nuclear industries.
To succeed as Nuclear Physicist/ Shielding Designer/ Engineer you should be qualified to degree level in a relevant scientific discipline with a proven track record with detailed knowledge in one of more of; Radiation transport; Criticality; Shielding; Dosimetry; Radiation consequences; Safety case; Industry standard codes such as MCBEND, WIMS, RANKERN, MONK, FISPIN, MCNP or Microshield and/or Analytical or prescriptive methods of dosimetry or shielding calculations.
You will need to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of a key area of nuclear physics and engineering and should have a desire to take technical leadership and project management responsibility for assigned projects. These senior roles will involve the supervision and coaching of other staff, who will be supporting the projects for which you are responsible.
This position will provide the opportunity to help consolidate our existing key accounts and to develop other clients into key accounts
This role requires SC Clearance so you must be either a British Citizen who has been living in the UK for the last 3 years minimum or of another nationality who has been living in the UK continuously for the last 5 years minimum.
