Salary - £20,000 - 25,000.
In-House Nurse: A top 100 Law firm with offices throughout the North West are seeking an experienced In-House Nurse to join their Clinical Negligence team. The role requires the successful candidate to utilise their broad medical expertise to vet cases to provide a full risk assessment of potentially new matters, prepare summaries of medical records, control and manage case workload and sort medical records. Previous experience working as a nurse and in-depth medical knowledge is essential.
In-House Nurse - Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in vetting cases in order to provide a full risk assessment of potentially new matters.
- Using in-depth medical knowledge to review existing cases.
- Preparing summaries of medical records.
In-House Nurse - Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience of working as a nurse.
- Understanding medical terminology and up to date medical knowledge essential.
- Competent use of Word, Excel and other Windows based packages.
