As a telephone based role, you will be talking to our members and helping them through their claim for Private Medical Insurance. You will do this by liaising with Doctors, hospitals, and clinicians to ensure that you get the best care for your patient.
The objective of this team is to save on costs of large and complex claims, but to always deliver high quality customer satisfaction that never compromises on clinical need.
The roleThis position will let you use your Nursing experience in an office environment. As a telephone based role, you will be talking to our members and helping them through their claim for Private Medical Insurance. You will do this by liaising with Doctors, hospitals, and clinicians to ensure that you get the best care for your patient.
Skills, knowledge and behaviourThis role is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse who would like to use their skills within a different environment. You will still get 1 on 1 contact with the patient, but it will be over the phone rather than face to face. You will be surrounded by a friendly and supportive team, who all have different nursing experience that could widen your knowledge and develop your skills.
You will need to have:Current RGN/RMN nursing registration with NMCA Nursing diploma or BSc in NursingClinical Nursing ExperienceExcellent written skillsA great telephone mannerThink creatively and autonomouslyStrong negotiation and relationship building skillsGood PC Skills
What will you get from this role?Social working hours of 9am ? 5.30pm Monday to Friday only, after probation a nine day fortnight can be worked.
